LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Provide nursing care to patients, orient patients and family members to the surrounding environment, and collect patient assessment data. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing Program or equivalent
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required
