Job Description
The University of Auckland is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Materials Assistant to join the Content Fulfilment and Operations team based at the On-Demand Collection, our off-campus library collections storage facility. The role involves processing materials requests, digitising content, maintaining copyright compliance, and supporting the delivery of physical and digital resources.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reasonable level of physical fitness
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new systems, software and procedures quickly
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work accurately with a high degree of attention to detail
- Experience working with library collections, library management systems, or warehouse operations
- Ability to lift boxes and work at height (ladders)
