Job Description
Standardized Patients are essential to the education of the Pritzker School of Medicine Medical Students. The Standardized Patient (SP) is expected to portray a clinical scenario in a standardized manner and provide effective feedback from the perspective of a patient.
Requirements
- Supports the operations of accredited and non-accredited residency and fellowship training programs.
- Portrays the history and physical symptoms of a clinical case, either a disease or a counseling issue, in exactly the same way each time it is presented to a student.
- Recalls by memory, accurately and consistently, what occurred during the exams; completes a required checklist.
- Responsible for administrative work under direction to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Performs other related work as needed.
