Research Assistant, College of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health & Disease

Research Assistant needed to work under the supervision of a Principal Investigator on sponsored research projects in the field of vascular biology, with specialization in mouse models of atherosclerosis and abdominal aortic aneurysm. Responsibilities include maintaining and propagating an experimental mouse colony, aiding members of the laboratory in conducting experiments, organizing files and records, and ordering supplies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
• Substantial mouse colony management experience and/or comfort working with mice
