Job Description
The Network Engineer II will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the University's networking environment, providing service for wired and wireless data connectivity, cable TV, and other network components. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network equipment, as well as participating in on-call and scheduled maintenance. The Engineer will collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure seamless system integration and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Requirements
- Implement and troubleshoot network infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments for seamless system integration.
- Maintain up-to-date network documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software delivery and troubleshooting.
