The Assistant Professor within the Department of Internal Medicine: Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) focuses on research programs in general areas of diabetes, obesity, pancreatic islet biology, and/or islet transplantation.
Requirements
- PhD or MD degree or equivalent
- Postdoctoral training focused on diabetes research
- Established record of scholarly productivity related to basic science (diabetes, obesity cell, molecular biology) and/or translational and clinical investigation
- Evidence of externally funded research as demonstrated by application materials
- Experience with teaching or mentoring students at all degree and post-graduate levels
