The Instructional Designer leads the Office of Educational Technology & Learning, providing leadership and expertise in curriculum design, LMS administration, faculty development, and educational technology. This position requires a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
Requirements
- Master's Degree and 3-5 years' experience working in higher education
- Demonstrated experience leading course development or redesign projects in higher education
- Quality Matters (QM) certification or comparable online course design certification
- Strong understanding of online, hybrid, and blended pedagogies and best practices in course design
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred) and common educational technologies
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience evaluating digital learning platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, presentation, and written communication skills
