Environmental Services Technician, Full Time

The University of Miami Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Services Technician – Full Time in the Environmental Services Department. The Environmental Services Technician performs cleaning functions to maintain a sanitary, safe, and orderly condition throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Follow established cleaning methods and procedures in performing cleaning duties.
• Use only cleaning supplies and chemicals that have been approved by management.
• Adhere to guidelines for fire and general safety, waste disposal, dress code, and patient information.
• Report areas in need of special cleaning or repairs to appropriate supervisor.
• Assist in the maintenance of equipment and organization of supplies.
• Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
