Environmental Services Technician, Full Time

The University of Miami Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Technician – Full Time (U) in the Environmental Services Department to perform cleaning functions and maintain a sanitary and safe environment throughout the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One-year experience as a housekeeper in the hotel/motel commercial/industrial sanitation or health care related field
• Follow established cleaning methods and procedures
• Use only approved cleaning supplies and chemicals
• Adhere to guidelines for fire and general safety, waste disposal, dress code, and patient information
• Report areas in need of special cleaning or repairs to appropriate supervisor
• Assist in the maintenance of equipment and organization of supplies
• Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets
