Job Description
The University of Mount Saint Vincent is seeking a Student Success Advisor to work closely with students to develop individualized action plans, provide proactive academic advising, engage students in career exploration and education, and connect them with experiential learning and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience working in a college setting
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Exceptional Computer Skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EAB Navigate
- Strong organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance
- Creativity and flexibility in order to personalize their learning approach for individual students
- Patience and compassion for students as they develop skills and improve their performance
