The Identity and Access Management Lead, IT Security position is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, integrating, testing, and managing solutions to support the University's Identity and Access Management (IAM) business objectives. The incumbent will supervise a team of Senior Analysts, plan, estimate, prioritize, and assign work to technical resources, and provide advice to staff regarding system development methods, design alternatives, and technical options.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in identity & access management, security, or related area.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solution development, platform engineering, and implementation.
- Advanced knowledge of various programming languages and scripting languages (e.g.: Java, JavaScript, Python, Node, PowerShell, etc.) and of computing hardware, software and software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including access certification, RBAC, ABAC, identity lifecycle management, and policy enforcement.
- Extensive experience designing end-to-end business system solutions in a complex application and technology environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and SCIM.
- Experience in integrating IAM solutions with cloud and hybrid environments.
- Experience working on large-scale mission critical systems such as but not limited to Saviynt.
- Proficiency in IAM, SSO, MFA, PAM, and other access management solutions.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, middleware, and automation.
- Proficiency in database management, including SQL and Oracle.
- In-depth analytical skills for complex problem solving – identification, diagnosis, resolution.
- Leadership skills, ability to coach and mentor other IT professionals.
- Knowledge of the University's information technology policies, procedures and standards would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Strong change management skills and adaptability to evolving technologies.
- Bilingualism – French and English (written and spoken).
