The University of Pennsylvania seeks an Associate Director, Major Gifts to manage a prospect pipeline of approximately 200 names, develop and execute strategic plans for prospect cultivation and stewardship, and provide individualized stewardship for existing donors. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in higher education. The Associate Director will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors capable of making gifts of $100,000 or more to University priorities.
Requirements
- Develop and manage a prospect pipeline of approximately 200 names
- Develop and execute strategic plans for prospect cultivation and stewardship
- Provide individualized stewardship for existing donors
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors capable of making gifts of $100,000 or more
- Write proposals and other materials such as briefing memos for events, talking points, invitations
- Recruit, manage and motivate fundraising volunteers
- Design and implement cultivation special events for individuals and groups
