The Deli Attendant is responsible for preparing, cooking, and arranging food options to appeal to customers while also greeting guests with a positive and friendly attitude. The position involves a range of responsibilities including food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and other various kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Knowledge of Mixology and ABC laws and health regulations.
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions.
- Ability to use a telephone.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly.
- Knowledge of alcohol awareness.
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
- Ability to be creative with cooking and food preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret production lists, menus, and simple instructions.
- Ability to complete accurate record keeping.
- Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- One (1) year cashier experience preferred.
- One (1) year restaurant experience preferred.
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid non-gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
- Must be RAMP certified
