Processing Development Engineer

Unlimit is seeking a talented Processing Development Engineer to join their team within the payment industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of their Processing Platform and providing expert technical development of card products. Requirements

• Core Payment Expertise
• 3+ years of experience in card processing systems
• Experience with card processing platforms
• Strong knowledge of payment industry standards and protocols
• Hands-on experience working with Card Schemes
• Strong understanding of scheme rules, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Technical Skills
• Practical experience with SQL/PLSQL, Bash, Postman, and Python
• Proficient in using banking applications, Oracle DB, WebLogic, and Bash scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues in high-load payment environments
• Experience with system integrations and API-based architectures
• Infrastructure & Systems Knowledge
• Understanding of payment system architecture
• Experience with system releases, updates, and production support with minimal downtime
• Additional Skills
• Experience in fraud/risk-related processes and transaction monitoring is a plus
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
