Job Description
The University of Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the Research Performance & Systems Innovation Team and oversee the REF 2029 planning and submission. The role involves strategic research performance planning, research systems, and research data governance and analytics. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the areas of REF, research systems, and research data and analytics.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience within a complex, research-intensive environment
- Experience managing research systems (e.g., Pure, Worktribe, Core Fusion) and driving system enhancements
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in research data governance, business intelligence, and predictive analytics
