Job Description
The University of Birmingham is seeking a Research Development Officer to provide support to researchers in the Research Support Team. The role involves providing expert guidance on research applications, managing research grants and agreements, and working with external partners and collaborators.
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent qualifications) plus significant relevant practical experience
- Knowledge of the UK research funding ecosystem, key research funders and an understanding of their processes
- Detailed knowledge and experience of providing research support across research grants and/or agreements
- Experience of successfully leading/coordinating the development of research grants and/or research agreements
