Head of Engagement - Development and Alumni Relations Office - 53158Z26 - Grade 8

The University of Birmingham is seeking a Head of Engagement to lead the Development and Alumni Relations Office's (DARO) strategy and manage key day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality global engagement programmes for DARO's key audiences, cultivating and maintaining excellent networks, and ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level (or equivalent qualifications)
• Significant experience of creating and managing broad-based programmes such as alumni relations, volunteering, or membership programmes
• Demonstrable experience of directly managing a team
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within DARO
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present to large groups
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise a varied and diverse workload
