The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and dispatching service technicians, supporting efficient work order flow, coordinating parts procurement, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Effective scheduling and dispatching of service technicians
- Logistical, administrative, and material support for work orders
- Liaison between field personnel, customers, and internal departments
- Management of procurement and inventory tracking for service materials and equipment
- Qualification of service requests to determine urgency and optimize scheduling
- Support of the service team with materials, tools, and equipment delivery coordination
- Issue and tracking of purchase orders for parts and materials
- Coordination of returns of unused materials and issue of credit POs
- Monitoring of truck stock and warehouse inventory levels
- Awareness of high-risk customers and coordination with Service Manager
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Capture and report of potential sales leads or upgrade opportunities
- Maintenance of accurate and timely completion of work order records and technician time reports
- Support of internal collaboration between service, sales, warehouse, and accounting teams
- Maintenance of a clean and organized work area
