Job Description
Upgrade helps customers with affordable financial products. They're seeking a Product Counsel to provide legal guidance on new products and advise on regulatory compliance. This role involves building strong relationships with teams, navigating the legal landscape, and ensuring compliance. The company has recently been recognized by major publications as a top Fintech company.
Requirements
- J.D. and Bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years advising financial institutions/fintech companies as a lawyer
- Experience advising on financial products, particularly consumer loans, deposit accounts and payments
- Innate curiosity, desire and ability to learn rapidly
- Resiliency and comfort serving as a trusted business partner
