Job Description
Anthropologie is looking for a Senior Designer for Sweaters to set the overall trend and direction for designs each season. The Senior Designer will supervise designers, ensure designs are appropriate for the Anthropologie customer, and travel to factories for development and execution of programs as needed.
Requirements
- Initiate and complete line plan requirements on a seasonal basis
- Research emerging trends and inspiration
- Supervise Assistant/Associate Designers
- Globally source and shop raw materials markets
- Communicate style details to PD and collaborate with Technical Design
- Partner with PD on the status of styles in development
- Attend weekly fittings and all relevant design meetings
- Travel to factories for development and execution of programs
- Develop, train, and lead Assistant and Associate Designers
