Livestock Specialist

Handle sires of varying ages and sizes, perform livestock care, operate equipment, and maintain facilities. 5+ years of previous livestock handling experience and post-secondary education in agriculture or related field required.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with large animals
• Ability to perform occasional planned weekend duties
• Capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to work on feet and stand for long periods of time
• Willingness to learn and follow company protocols
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team environment
• Effective communicator with attention to detail
• Keen sense of attention to safe working practices and strong awareness of surroundings
