Shift Supervisor (3pm-11:30pm M-F)

The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting, leading and coordinating with the plant team the business production needs with a focus on Packaging. The role requires 5+ years of Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain experience, operational experience, and team facilitation and consensus building skills. The supervisor will lead a team, manage head count, overtime, weekend requirements, and support 24-hour operation, flexibility, and taking calls from plant and acting to support. The role involves ensuring safety and quality, managing plant crewing, and supporting TRACC and SIC boards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Operational experience - Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or 6 sigma
• Team facilitation and consensus building working thru engagement of various levels of the organization
• Proven interpersonal skills to effectively lead and influence and do work across organizational boundaries including corporate resources, contractors and plant associates.
• Demonstrated experience in motivating a workforce in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent oral/written communication and people skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
