Job Description
The Property Adjuster Specialist - Field is a field-based role that involves investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling complex property insurance claims presented by or against USAA members. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of property claims adjusting experience, and the ability to travel 50-75% of the year. USAA provides a company vehicle and pays overtime, and the position is open until filled.
Requirements
- Proactively manages assigned claims caseload
- Partners with vendors and internal business partners
- Investigates claim damages
- Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation
- Advance knowledge of estimating technology platforms
- Supports workload surges and catastrophe response operations
- Works independently solving complex problems
- Adjusts complex claims with attorney involvement
