Property Adjuster Specialist- Field

As a Property Adjuster Specialist, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims for USAA members. You will work within established guidelines and framework to confirm coverage, recognize liability exposure, and negotiate equitable settlements. This is a field-based role for St. Louis, MO, with a focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling.

Requirements

• Proactively manage assigned claims caseload
• Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution
• Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources
• Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process
• Supports workload surges and catastrophe response operations as needed
• May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs
