Associate Producer/Broker

We are seeking an Associate Producer/Broker to join our team at USG Insurance Services. The successful candidate will have strong relationship-building skills and experience in property and casualty insurance. The role involves working with retail insurance agents, developing a book of business, and establishing relationships with carriers and rating markets. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining underwriting files, understanding markets and underwriting guidelines, and negotiating terms with parties involved in the submission process. Requirements

• Strong relationship-building skills to work with targeted carriers, retail insurance agents, and develop a book of business
• Experience in property and casualty insurance including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures
• Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
• Skilled in business writing and problem/situation analysis
• 2-3 years of experience in a Production Assistant support role preferred
• 1-3 years of experience with a wholesaler is preferred
• Must have the desired career path to become a Producer/Broker within 1 to 2 years
