Producer/Broker

As a Producer/Broker at USG, you will engage directly with independent Property and Casualty Retail Agents to solicit, underwrite, market, and secure coverage for our business enterprises within the excess and surplus lines marketplace. Responsibilities include developing relationships with retail insurance agents, building relationships with in-house binding and brokerage markets, and consistently demonstrating a professional, positive, team-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• 3 years of wholesale broker/MGA or carrier experience, excess & surplus lines preferred
• Sales driven 'people person' with the ability to establish new relationships and learn communication strategies and sales methods
• Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to thrive in a team environment
• Strong knowledge and experience of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology and technical procedures
• P&C License required, E&S License preferred
• Experience with Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Reader, and other Windows based software applications
