Appraiser II - Residential - may underfill as Appraiser I - Residential

The Utah County Assessor's office is seeking an Appraiser II - Residential to classify property in the county, associate ownership with property, and establish taxable values. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Residential Appraisal Supervisor and may be assigned to specific duties in New Construction or Detailed Review roles.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalency as defined in Utah State Code
• Two (2) years of work experience as a residential or commercial appraiser
• Certification as Certified Residential Appraiser or higher with the Utah State Department of Commerce
• Designation as Ad Valorem Residential Appraiser with the Utah State Tax Commission within two (2) years of employment
• Valid driver’s license and valid State of Utah driver’s license within sixty (60) days of employment
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
