Registered Nurse Emergency Services at UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper. The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team, establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in applicable state
• CPI certification within three months of hire (for Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and Central Staffing and Scheduling Office)
• 1 year of relevant experience (preferred)
• Ability to perform basic nursing skills on groups of patients
• Ability to assume charge responsibility
• Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
• Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
• Basic computer knowledge
