Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Safety Attendant to provide observation of patients, report concerns, and assist with patient care. This role involves communication with the interdisciplinary team, adhering to facility policies, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. The position also requires experience in a hospital setting.
Requirements
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing (department-specific)
- Knowledge of infection control, body substance precautions, and patient safety guidelines
- Must adhere to all safety measures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
