Job Description
V2X is seeking a Project Engineer I to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The Project Engineer will lead the development of various air-based systems and support all phases of the development process. The role requires excellent communication skills, systems engineering knowledge, and the ability to create and maintain project plans.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Systems Engineering knowledge – Requirements Management, IV&V experience, and life cycle management of projects
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to create and maintain project plans
- Ability to Monitor and measure performance of the project
- Ability to become proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Ability to gain or current US Government Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Windows
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and scheduling practices
- Basic understanding of reading and comprehending drawings, specifications, and other technical information
