Vaisala is a global technology leader and expert in weather, environmental, and industrial measurements. We are seeking a Sales Manager to promote our industrial measurement instruments and related services with logical and strategic thinking.
Requirements
- Promote industrial measurement instruments and related services with logical and strategic thinking
- Collaborate with customer success team and clients to promote the sale of products and services
- Lead generation proactively by utilizing sales channels or End user high touch sales activities
- Effectively utilize Salesforce to handle a high volume of incoming leads from marketing activities or developed with channels, and to convert them to prospective opportunities
- Actively interview the customers with curiosity and find out the hidden needs
- Help and collaborate with other sales managers, customer success team, other departments, and clients to reach sales targets in the assigned sectors as a individual and also as a team
- Correspond to customers' inquiries and propose equipment or services for a diverse set of applications
- Handle difficult situations or customers by using negotiation skills and with a tough mentality
- Organize regular meeting (e.g. QBR) with selected sales channels or key accounts to review sales progress and to discuss the next action items
- Customer / channel visit physically or remotely by using digital tool – domestic business travel is required
- Update sales status or issues with the supervisor/related people regularly or in timely manner
