Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to ensure the consistent delivery of accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and support the overall financial management of the Valeo Foods UK business.

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification at this level)
• 3-5 years PQE
• Experience in finance business partnering and management accounting roles
• Experience working with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Oracle, IFS)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Food industry experience preferred but not essential
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Good communicator
• High degree of systems literacy
• Highly analytical and inquisitive mind
• Ability to manage varying workloads
• Ability to manage multi-faceted and multi-functional engagements in a matrix organisation
