Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to ensure the consistent delivery of accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and support the overall financial management of the Valeo Foods UK business. The role will focus on delivery of financial governance, control, planning and analysis in the following key areas: monthly financial & management accounting, tax controls processes, management and maintenance of fixed asset register, statutory reporting, and liaison with external auditors and tax authorities.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification at this level) with 3-5 years PQE
- Experience in finance business partnering and management accounting roles, partnering with both finance and non-finance teams/stakeholders to provide insights and commentary
- Experience working with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Oracle, IFS)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
