Design Leader / Sr. Engineer

Valeo is a tech global company that designs breakthrough solutions for reinventing mobility. The Design Leader/Sr. Engineer will be responsible for the deliverables of their Discipline(s), including planning, monitoring, and controlling activities, as well as reviewing internal and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Complying with Disciplines processes and Design Rules
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• Perform or support design calculations / simulations / coding / associated acceptance tests
• Responsible for Discipline design reviews preparation and open points closure
• Interface with the customer for the Discipline content
• Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his/her Hierarchical
• Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
• Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments
• Establish detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones
• Follow activities and spending of his/her scope to meet his/her allowed budget and timing
• Management of the contributors
• Daily management of his/her group
