Methods Injection Tooling Engineer

As a Methods Injection Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all products, designing plastic part engineering, and providing support on new product launch tooling and process.

Requirements

• Design for manufacturing a plastic part, mold, and process according to Valeo Production System & TPM rules.
• Analyze new products in order to integrate new components and P2.
• Involve in Molding FMEA, control plan, SPPC definition, and tolerances application.
• Investigate design to cost solutions, identify improvement in part to simplify the machining of tools, optimize molding conditions, and reduce cost.
• Evaluate toolmakers (current or new) and teach toolmakers about Valeo standards.
• Capitalize feedback from production and supplier to initiate corrective and preventive actions (cost breakdown, problem solving, troubleshooting...).
