Assistant Maintenance - The Haven at Chisholm Trail - Fort Worth, TX

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance who is responsible for assisting the maintenance supervisor and maintaining the physical integrity of the property. The Assistant Maintenance will ensure that all duties are carried out with safety first and according to Valiant Residential policies.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Certification is a plus.
• EPA (refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification) is required.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance is required.
• Ability to perform work responsibilities at other locations and ability to travel within major metropolitan areas with possible overnight stays in other cities.
• Ability to work some weekends as needed.
