Job Description
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting patients during examinations, treatment, and preparation of treatment rooms. This role involves direct patient care, patient documentation, and assisting various nursing staff members. The position is supported by a Practice Manager/Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting school or current Medical Assisting Certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office (front office, lab, procedure setup, etc.) is preferred.
- BLS-CPR Certification (AHA Provider).
- Corrective vision and hearing.
