The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for working closely with customers of the Tubing Division to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, provide quotes and process sales orders to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Prepare timely quotations of price and delivery to customers based upon their needs and specifications
- A high level of customer knowledge and market awareness including customer specific information, customer specifications and prints, shipping requirements, and market competition will be required
- Ensure timely follow up and coordination of quotations tendered to customers to ascertain competitiveness regarding price, delivery, quantity and other factors including competition
- Investigate all complaints received from customers, production control, shipping, engineering, traffic, or accounting
- Develop and maintain information files within Salesforce on existing customers and prospects
- Update sales team on pertinent customer, pricing, competition, and market information
