Scientist I, Neuroimmunology, Target Validation  and Drug Discovery

Valo Health is seeking a Scientist I, Neuroimmunology, to play a pivotal role in target validation and drug discovery for Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The role involves designing and executing experiments, working with cross-functional teams, and collaborating with subject matter experts to bring forward novel solutions to target validation.

Requirements

• PhD in Biological Sciences or related field with 0-2+ years of experience
• Expertise in Immunology, Autoimmune Disease, Neuroimmunology, Neuroinflammation
• Experience in human in vitro systems, including direct cell culture with immune cell types, molecular biology, and genetic manipulation
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Track record of impactful scientific contributions as demonstrated by high-impact publications
