Job Description
Valor Healthcare is seeking a passionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in NE San Antonio, TX. The role involves providing prescribed medical treatment, diagnosing and treating patients with diseases and injuries in the clinic, collaborating with PACT Team, and ensuring compliance with VA guidelines. The clinic serves veterans, federal government service members, and provides a high-quality patient experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioner (MSN required)
- Certification by an applicable professional organization
- Minimum one-year clinical experience as a CRNP
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS (must be renewed periodically)
- Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor
- Strong service mentality
