Job Description
Valor Healthcare is seeking a passionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in SW San Antonio. They aim to deliver high-quality, veteran-focused healthcare in a respectful and customer-centric environment. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients with various medical conditions, collaborating with a PACT team, and adhering to VA guidelines. They value patient experience and commitment to both veteran care and a great healthcare experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school and a graduate of an accredited NP program (MSN required)
- Certification by a relevant professional organization
- Minimum one-year clinical experience as a CRNP in a primary care or ambulatory setting
- Credentialed and in good standing with the VA
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification
- Current DEA registration
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor
