Distribution Center Operations Manager I

Valvoline Global Operations is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager I to oversee the tasks required for planning, scheduling, and distributing domestic and international customer orders. The role involves managing schedules and staffing levels, ensuring all procedures for receiving inventory control and shipping are followed, and enforcing safety guidelines for all employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Logistics Management, or applicable degrees related to distribution-type activities.
• 7-10 years in a manufacturing/distribution setting.
• 7-10 years of management experience.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• May be required to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift and stand for extended periods of time.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Transportation Management Systems.
• Ability to travel up to 5%
