Job Description
Correctional Officer will maintain custody and care of inmates, enforce inmate rules, and ensure security and sanitation of the Van Buren County Jail.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- One to three years of responsible work experience
- Physical ability to pass the Michigan Sheriffs' Coordinating and Training Council (MSCTC) Local Corrections Officer Physical Ability Test (LCOPAT)
- Good moral character
- Mental fitness
- Valid State of Michigan Operator's License
