Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, ensuring optimal functionality of heating and plumbing systems, and performing scheduled maintenance repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance a plus
- Four or more years of manufacturing experience
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC/Robot programming experience and HVAC experience
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principals, concepts, practices and theories
- Working knowledge of all production equipment and processes
- Good communication skills, team oriented and a self-starter
- Strong reasoning ability, able to analyze problems
- Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
