Sr. Test Technician

The Senior Test Technician is responsible for providing technical support, analyzing complex problems, and developing test software and fixtures. The role requires advanced proficiency in computer systems, circuit analysis techniques, and electronic test equipment.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in computer systems, including MS Excel (vlookups), Office, and Outlook
• Ability to demonstrate core competencies through the successful completion of Test Technician Exam
• Must have extensive knowledge in circuit analysis techniques and use of electronic test equipment
• Basic understanding of HP3070 and Flying Probe operation (preferred).
• Must be familiar with PC operation and applications.
• Knowledge of computer language such as C#, C++, VHDL, VB.net or LabView.
• Knowledge of SMT assembly and testing.
• Demonstrated success in systematic team problem solving and excellent communication/facilitation skills
• Demonstrated creativity, project planning and engineering judgement in solving manufacturing problems.
• A minimum of two year degree in electronics or the equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as electronic technical, troubleshooting complex products and sub-assemblies
