The Project Manager provides planning, coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure they meet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule. The Project Manager maintains management and project facilitation for the successful completion of projects per compliance, contractual, owner, and Vanir requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Justice or Correctional sector
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Spanish
- Architectural background
- Knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Prolog and Primavera
- Proficiency with various document control systems, as well as new construction and modernization
- Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred
- Certified Construction Manager preferred
