Backend Senior Software Engineer, Monetization Platform

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale a monetization platform for its enterprise-grade revenue and entitlement platform. This role will involve technical leadership in developing solutions to support rapid growth, integrate with financial platforms, and ensure data consistency. The ideal candidate will have experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems, and a strong understanding of security and data integrity.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of industry experience with backend development
• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Strong background integrating with external APIs and services
• Experience building platform services used by multiple teams
• Strong data modeling skills for systems requiring transactional consistency
• Knowledge of billing systems, payment processing, or subscription management
• Understanding of financial data security and integrity requirements
• Having led meaningful technical projects from concept to completion
