Job Description
Vanta is a cybersecurity firm dedicated to helping businesses earn and prove trust through security. They are seeking a Director of Commercial Legal to lead their commercial legal function, managing contracts, processes, and relationships, acting as a trusted business partner and team leader. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach to execute on complex legal transactions and maintain hypergrowth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience and JD degree from an accredited school with experience negotiating SaaS agreements.
- 5+ years of experience managing a commercial legal team at a hypergrowth technology company.
- Direct experience with a variety of legal matters, including strategic business agreements, information security and compliance, privacy, intellectual property rights, international expansion, and management of affiliates.
- Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues.
