Store Manager

Vast Auto Distribution, a subsidiary of O'Reilly Automotive Inc., is a leader in the distribution and marketing of automotive parts for auto parts stores in Eastern Canada. We are looking for a passionate team player to join us as a Store Manager.

Requirements

• Maximize sales by directing team members
• Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies
• Supervise the work performed by all team members
• Work collaboratively with the District Manager in recruiting, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and terminating team members
• Maximize gross profit on outside purchases
• Monitor noncompetitive price overrides and price matches to ensure policy compliance and overall profitability
• Schedule appropriate staffing levels to ensure optimal customer service and profitability
• Review and approve team members’ hours daily
• Work directly with the assistant management team to ensure all team members receive proper training in all areas
• Complete team member performance evaluations
• Ensure the store is organized and operating in accordance with all company policies and procedures
• Communicate consistently via email, notes, worksheets, and other tools to support efficient operations
• Provide the Inventory Control Department with accurate and timely stock adjustment reports
• Implement all planogram changes and merchandising plans as outlined on the To-Do List
