Senior Manufacturing Engineer - New Product Introduction

Veeco is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in semiconductor capital equipment and New Product Introduction (NPI). The role involves leading the transition of complex, precision-engineered systems from design to production, ensuring manufacturability, scalability, and zero-defect readiness.

Requirements

• Lead the successful transition of new products from the design phase to volume production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and alignment with business objectives
• Develop and Implement best known methods related to Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Test (DFT)
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and equipment to find opportunities for improvement
• Create documentation required for successfully manufacturing hardware at scale
• Analyze and resolve technical and operational problems
• Participate in product life cycle projects for implementation of new products into production at contract manufacturer site from manufacturing engineering role
